Sleep Hypnosis for Anxiety (newest version)
Hello my name is Jody and welcome to this video Sleep Hypnosis for Social Anxiety. Please make sure you are comfortable before we begin. Once you have found a position on a bed, sofa, chair, or even the floor that is pleasing to you I would like you to take a nice deep breath in and then slowly let it go to help yourself relax and prepare you mind and body to become deeply relaxed and perhaps fall asleep while listening to these hypnotic suggestions and positive affirmations so you can, while you simply relax and do nothing at all, make changes deep within your psyche so when you wake up or get up, when it is time to wake up or get up you will be able to feel relaxed and at ease in social situations or anytime you are around people and would like to feel comfortable and maybe even enjoy your time you spend with people..maybe even people who are new to you…and as you take another deep breath in..just for now..and as you let that breath go imagining all stress or trapped energy flowing away from you…flowing away as you just let this breath go..and you could imagine you are becoming more and more relaxed with each and every breath you let go..and just for now for the purpose of this exercise I would like you to imagine these new people or people you already know..are friendly…whether or not this is true right now is not important..what is important is just for now you attach friendly feelings to new people..if you can and if not that’s okay too because as I talk about some relaxing things..your subconscious mind can receive some suggestions to help you make the neuro -association between new people or people who make you nervous and friendly relaxed feelings…so you can meet the world without fear and feel confident in any situation… it may be important for you to listen to my words during this introduction if you find them interesting and if you don’t no worries it will soon be over and even if you allow your attention to wander your sub conscious will still be receiving suggestions to help you feel better..you may feel better now or later…maybe in a few minutes. Or perhaps tomorrow and if at any time you feel sleepy or drowsy this is just wonderful because you can fall asleep at any time and rest assured there will still be a part of your mind still awake and doing all the work for you while you drift off into a long sound and pleasant sleep..rest deeply and rest well..so you can wake up when it is time to wake up feeling great and ready to do what it is you are going to do..feeling happy and relaxed and feeling well..and you may like to run a scan of your body right now to make sure you are fully relaxed and are not holding any tension in any of your muscles..and if you do notice somewhere you are a little bit tense you can just let that tension go and fill that area with warm feelings of relaxation..and it would also be helpful if you check on your breathing to make sure you are breathing deeply and sofly..Breathing down deep into your belly to key in your body’s relaxation response. It’s okay to relax and feel good now because this is your time just for you and this is a good thing…a great thing really..that you are taking this time for yourself to relax fully and improve yourself while you rest or sleep…and you may realise now..right now you are in charge..you can choose to make the little changes that can add up to big results..and these little changes that can start happening right now..can give you the power to be able to do the things you would like to do feeling happy, relaxed, and in control of how you feel..and because of this you may feel more powerful..even if it is just a little bit..you can feel more powerful and like this feeling so it can grow and become a very big part of who you are..and you can realise how wonderful you are..and live with happiness and peace..feeling good about yourself..and that is who you are..the real you..and you can while you relax, rest, or sleep..allow your mind to let go of old reactions or patterns of feeling and plant new ones…new ways of feeling that are pleasing to you..and you can like these feelings, make them welcome, and encourage them to grow…and sometime after now you may feel anxious..and if you do you can breathe deeply into your belly to help yourself relax …….
